Privacy Policy
Peel is a personal coffee bag journal. It has no accounts of its own, no servers, no ads, and no analytics.
What Peel stores
- Photos you take or choose. Peel turns them into stickers on your iPhone. The stickers, names, notes, ratings, origins, and recipes you add are saved on your device.
- iCloud sync. When you're signed in to iCloud, your collection is also kept in your own private iCloud storage so it stays the same across your devices. Apple stores it under your Apple Account; the developer can't see or access it.
- Widget data. A small copy of your newest stickers is kept in a folder shared with the Peel Home Screen widget, on the same device.
None of this is sent to the developer or to anyone else.
Permissions
- Camera: used only when you photograph a bag.
- Photos (add only): used only when you save a story card. Peel can't read your photo library.
Purchases
Peel Pro is a one-time purchase made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; the developer never sees your payment details or Apple Account. Peel only checks with the App Store whether this Apple Account has bought Pro.
Sharing
When you share to Instagram Stories or use the share sheet, the image you chose is handed to the app you pick. What happens next is covered by that app's privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Delete a bag in the app and it's removed from every synced device. Deleting Peel removes what's on that device. To remove the iCloud copy too, go to Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Peel.
Children
Peel doesn't knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
